You are correct. I had it wrong.
As per USC,
"Colonial Life Fan Appreciation Day is set for Sunday, August 16, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The event begins at 1 p.m. with the football team expected to sign autographs from 1:15-2:45 p.m. This is an opportunity for our fans to engage with the student-athletes and not a “media opportunity” to interview the student-athletes or coaches."
