Facts about the baseball tourney

We didn't deserve to make the tourney. We fell flat on our face the last weekend of the year, which was much like the rest of the season. One more win against LSU and we would have been in. All this crying about Clemsux making it and a freaking conspiracy theory that FSU flopped to get another ACC team in is ridiculous. JackLegg got it done. Chad didn't.
Chad and Co. is who we need to be upset with. They should already start preparing for next season. This better be fuel to not let another year like this one ever happen again. IMO make it to a Super next year or CH should be the one packing his bags.

I don't disagree. The way the taters closed, they deserved it more than we did.

A voice of reason. It's amazing that people think a whole team would conspire to drop 3 straight games to help one of their rivals out. FSU and Clemson are rivals and not friendly.

Pepsi they do matter. BUT...

1) Our midweek records weren't anything to write home about. (We were fifth/six best in our state this year...)
2) The tournament selection committee takes teams on how they are playing at the end of the season. Give the Taternecks credit, they swept FSU. They won a tourney game. How did we fare on the last week of the season or in the tourney?

Us not making the tournament is our own fault.

Our coaching staff has never cared about mid week games or the SEC tournament. Our midweek hurlers should be better than PC, Citadel, Furman,
& Up State's starters. We hurt badly in the rotation all year. We need a new
coach there, and someone to teach our players how to hit the dang ball. We
have been a bad hitting team for years. Look back at the Championship game
in 2012 CWS, If we had been able to hit the ball we would have won the CWS
Championships 3 years in a row.
