*** NOTE: Since this report was published on the morning of July 26, we published another Insider Report that adds more names and information to the weekend visitor slate. See that report HERE.

*** South Carolina's long-time priority tight end target, Oscar Delp, indeed followed through with a visit to Clemson for the Tigers' "All-In Cookout" on Sunday.

Interestingly, Clemson simultaneously hosted Greenville product Josh Sapp on Sunday. The son of former Clemson QB Patrick Sapp, he is expected to be a guy that Clemson could ultimately move in on with an offer, should Delp be a miss.

Based on early returns after the latest Clemson visit, it's still believed that Georgia and South Carolina remain as the primary contenders atop Delp's list.

Delp has been unsure as of late as to whether or not he will make a commitment on his mother's birthday (September 30), or just whenever the time feels right.

As we have said, he will be at home while Georgia and South Carolina host prospect events on the same day this coming weekend.

We anticipate that he'll be back in Columbia for a game visit early this season. There could be further developments and information on where things stand in the coming days, as Delp's summer slate of trips appears to be officially over.

*** On Saturday, the Gamecock staff will welcome in another group of prospects for a cookout recruiting event on campus.

This will be the first summer event of its kind under Shane Beamer, and our understanding is the list is still being built out as the staff looks to attract some top targets from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 classes. To that end, we'll have more in the coming days as prospects continue to confirm.

Here's an early look at some of the prospects expected to be in attendance:

- Our understanding is that all three of the Gamecocks' commitments along the offensive line for the '22 class will be in town: Ryan Brubaker, Grayson Mains, and Cason Henry.

In addition to that trio, the staff will also get another in-person swing at a couple of the Palmetto State's top underclass offensive linemen. Dorman's Markee Anderson will be in town (2023), as will Dillon's Josiah Thompson from the 2024 class.

- Gamecock defensive tackle Felix Hixon, who took his official visit early in June prior to committing to the program, will likewise head back to Columbia to participate.

Joining Hixon will be at least three defensive tackle prospects that have all been established as priorities.

We've documented the Gamecocks' position as of late for the one in the 2022 class in Virginia's D'Andre Martin. He earned an offer with his showing in camp this summer, and South Carolina's in his final two along with Virginia Tech. Martin's visit, last we heard, was expected to be a multi-day venture. And yes, there's some #WelcomeHome potential here.

In-state product Xzavier Mcleod from the 2023 class has been a major priority for the Beamer staff, and his initial trips to campus have been extremely productive as far as South Carolina's positioning. He, too, will make the short drive over from Camden to take part in Saturday's festivities.

Carolina will also see 2024 Atlanta standout lineman Hevin Brown-Shuler once again on Saturday. The Columbia native trains at times with former Gamecock Corey Miller, and it's anticipated that South Carolina will remain a significant factor as his process continues to unfold.
