The “state” of Florida football.

Not a single team from Florida is in the top 25. In my lifetime, Miami, Florida, and Florida State have all had times of dominance. Even UCF had their glory lately. Florida is widely regarded as a recruiting hotbed. Is it mediocre coaching? FSU and UF have struggled there for sure. Don’t get me wrong - I don’t hate it - but it’s pretty remarkable that there’s not currently a football “power” in the whole state.

All the FL recruits must be going to GA or AL….. sC sure isn’t getting them!
