USC UPSTATE best athletic program in school history.

The basketball program wins over 20 games for the 3rd. yr. in a row with the mvp of league going to their shooting guard. womens bb doing well and softball beating large d 1 schools. The whole athletic program is doing well. I hope the dysfunctional faculty does not screw up the athletic dept. as they have the academic side.
This may not be the forum for this comment but the majority of faculty at USC U are idiots. They ran off Chancellor Sansbury a few yrs. back and now are trying to run off Chancellor Moore.

I graduated from USC Spartanburg, now USC Upstate. Proud of their recent athletic accomplisments!

However, I can remember we won a National Championship in basketball during my time. Our soccer team was once a National contender. (Either tied or beat c1em5on in soccer back when cu was a soccer contender.)

So, Upstate (Spartanburg) has had some rich periods in sports.

I'm out of touch with the faculty and admin issues and concerns.
