Vanderbilt baseball

This isnt new for Vanderbilt - they have made this a trademark habit for several years now...the Vandy catcher will also spike the ball on home plate after getting a 3rd strike for out #3. I have seen Vanderbilt catchers spike the ball on home plate and the ball almost bounces up and hits the opposing batter in the face. It's like flinging the bat after hitting a home run: it's meant to show up the opponent....

Plus I gather that Florida and Vanderbilt do not like each other....

Shows the class of the coach to allow it. They did it more in the past, when David price was pitching there the catcher was spiking the ball damn near every inning with all the players he rung up.

which is why I cannot pull for vandy/fla in the tourney. Last yr CWS finals was painful for me because I did not want an ACC team to break their "streak" so I was forced to pull for vandy
