The real knockahoma was retired sometime in the mid 80s. The human dressed as an Indian. They had a redfaced mascot named Homer the Brave in the late 80s and early 90S. I'd say that mascot was far more offensive than knockahoma.

The Braves also had a green mascot in the 70s called bleacher creature and also Rally.

They shouldve never stole Mr. Met. I get they have to please the PC crowd, but they could go with something different.

At least the Tomahawk chop still exists. I wish the old logo would return, but I do have a shirt with it and they do still sale it
