Can the loser on the network find another topic aside from USC joining the ACC? Not going to happen.

I guess I had lost track of ole Bobby - but he is residing here in my home state of
Missouri as the head coach of Missouri State ( his second year) . His team is a preseason
pick to finish sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference - a conference dominated in
football by the three Dakota schools and Northern Iowa. I thought Eastern Illinois
was in this conference - but it s Western Illinois - got me to thinking there is an
Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois and plain old Illinois.
Petrino when learning he had been picked sixth - which I don't think he liked being
picked there said " It is not about where you are picked - it's about where you finish"
- a useful comment for Gamecock fans as we enter this season -as expected
not to do much by the media. Prove them wrong Shane.

Definitely NOT following the ambiguous approach of the ACC, but would would you call the 4 quad pods for the SEC?

North, South, East and West?

Southwest, Southeast, Uppersouth, Lowersouth?

If I were the ACC I’d break the bank to convince ND to join as a football member, ND makes a lot of money but the days of an independent making any noise is dwindling, with conferences moving to mostly conference only schedules, their ability to schedule significant competition will get tougher and tougher.

Is there going to be some sort of time limit on tailgating hours? I saw somewhere that tailgating in USC spaces is limited to 2.5 hours before game time.

Not sure of that is the new normal of the site hasn't been updated since last year.

South Carolina is hosting Camden (S.C.) class of 2024 RB/WR Cortez Lane on an unofficial visit today.

He's 5-foot-11, 180-pounds and South Carolina has been showing interest.

He's obviously still very young (I'm about to make his profile on here) but I would put him firmly in the category of one to keep an eye on down the road.

Cortez is the younger brother of Willis Lane who was a stud RB for Camden the last couple of years.

Listened to Wes and Chris yesterday and they mentioned a NFL format possibly and I think they are right. This is what I'm thinking will happen.

The USA 3x3 team will play two games overnight. The semifinal game against France is at 4:00 am. The other semifinal is between China and ROC. The losers play in the bronze medal game at 7:45 am. The winners play in the gold medal game at 8:55 am. Allisha Gray is averaging 5.4 points, and team-highs of 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the Olympics. The games can be streamed on NBCOlympics.com and will be carried live on USA Network.

i could see west virginia leaving the big 12 and joining the acc. never really understood them joining the big 12. makes geographical sense. what about maryland bolting the big 10 and rejoining the acc. that would give the acc 16 teams. what say you?
