South Carolina advances to the sweet 16

South Carolina women's soccer defeated Harvard this afternoon at Durham, NC 3-2 to advance to the sweet 16. South Carolina's first goal was a gift from the Crimson own goal (OG) at the 2:33 Mark. Cat Barry had a brace today with the first goal being from a nice thread the needle pass that Barry received and connected on for a goal at the 21:45 mark. Later in the first half Barry scored on a corner kick from Harris. Barry was on the outside left side of six yard box and headed the ball in an angle which found a place in the right corner of the goal at the 40:50 mark. Harvard was given a goal by South Carolina scoring an OG during the 80th minute. Harvard score another goal at the 87:03 mark.

South Carolina to play the winner between Duke and Texas on Sunday.

Future SEC scheduling

It looks like that once Texas and OU are in the conference, the SEC will go with 3 permanent foes playing annually, and then rotate the other 6 schools every other year. That would guarantee that your team visits every SEC campus at least once every 4 years, and that we would likewise get every SEC school into our home stadium at least once every 4 years. That is what I am hearing from Texas sources.
