How did the bass fishing team do this season?

Also, the Cornhole Team was finishing strong until a few key injuries... and the Women's Hide & Seek Team is positioned to go deep in the tourney.

    Recruiting

Like it or not, the truth of the matter is... the Clemson brand is white hot right now. They've been in the CFB Playoffs 3 straight years, won a nat'l title over Bama, and lost a close one to Bama. Doesn't get much better than that. And they've had the luxury of being able to pick and choose...

I say Buster Douglas is still a bigger upset .**

Yes, I was going to post this earlier. He knocked out a bunch of no-name stiffs in the 1st round on PPV and everybody thought he was awesome. You can tell how old people are when they mention Tyson as an all-time great. But you can't fool people who know boxing... usually he's not even ranked...

Potential top 10 NFL Prospect Christian Wilkins turns down $$$ millions, decides to stay at Clemson

"A monster of a program that was made to look silly by Bama..." Yeah, but we probably don't want to go there. They've played Bama a lot more than we have recently. Ditto for Auburn & LSU. And they have a home-and-home with Texas A&M starting next year. Hell, they run the SEC West gauntlet...

    Clemson D-Line is staying

    I always enjoy beating a Big 10 team, but let's be real about Michigan. They were a middle-of-the-pack team in their conference, and Harbaugh is already on the hot seat. 1. Wisconsin (13-0, 9-1) 2. Ohio St (12-2, 8-1) 3. Penn St (11-2, 7-2) 4. Mich St (10-3, 7-2) 5. Northwestern (10-3, 7-2) ...

My first and only thread why Clemson football players don't leave early for the NFL

Jesus. Surely you are aware that in the last few years Clemson has probably had more JRs declare for the draft than just about any school in the country, right? And I guess you missed the 4 UGA studs that all came back last year - Chubb, Michel, Carter & Bellamy? They don't care about...

XT grew up a GC fan. How can you EVEN think of Clemson, somethings off.

Good lord, people... just reverse it for a second. Let's say I'm a huge Clemson fan and so is everybody in the family. My daughter just happens to grow up to become one of the top basketball players in the nation. Everybody in the country is wining and dining her. She has scholarship offers...

Well what else is new? We are just pathetic in every sport except WBB.

I read on a tater board that we've never in our history won two games in March Madness. Without doing the research - is that true? Every trip has been a one-and-done??

I thought the pick play was illegal

It seems consensus opinion this morning is that the play is legal. Actually, the first "pick play" is more questionable than the winning score. On the last TD, the Bama defender appears to grab the WR by the shoulder pads and drag him down...

Gators smacked Hawkeyes in the mouth

Spot on. I have never understood pulling for other SEC teams. It's like kneeling down and letting somebody else step on your back to get a notch higher. Everything good that happens for Bama, Aub, LSU, Fla, UGA, Tenn, etc, is bad for USC. It just increases the separation between our program...

    They Are an Elite Group

I hope you're right, but twisting ourselves into knots to try to diminish what clempson has accomplished doesn't change anything. I still hear the "they don't play anybody" excuse. I just pulled up the final CFP rankings. When it's all said and done, they will have played #1 Bama, #3 Ohio St...

    They Are an Elite Group

Yeah, but it's not some huge stroke of luck NCS missed a 33 yd FG. After that game I heard on ESPN radio that college kickers connect on about 80% of FGs between 30-35 yds. That means they miss 20% of the time, or 1 out of 5. Happens all the time.

The Option would never work in the SEC <sarcasm>

Paul Johnson wasn't at Ga Tech until 2008, so all of those other games are irrelevant. He's 3-6 vs UGA, and during that same time span, we were only 1 game better at 4-5. And that was during the best era in our history. 3-6 is dang good considering UGA probably averaged a Top 5 recruiting...

The Option would never work in the SEC <sarcasm>

All true. I just love to watch GaT & the service academies run it, that's all.

The Option would never work in the SEC <sarcasm>

Actually, GT has played UGA dead even for the last 4 years. 2016 - GaT 28, UGA 27 2015 - UGA 13, GaT 7 2014 - GaT 30, UGA 24 (OT) 2013 - UGA 41, GaT 34 (2 OT) Doesn't really matter, I'm not campaigning for us to go to the option. I do love to watch it though, it's a thing of beauty when it's...

The Option would never work in the SEC <sarcasm>

Again... that Ga Tech team full of 2 star recruits beat UGA and all their 5 stars, and just thumped KY, a team that is going for a FOURPEAT against us in 2017. Love him or hate him, Paul Johnson does more with less than just about anybody.

    Georgia Tech is dirty

Nevertheless... that Ga Tech team full of 2 star recruits beat UGA and all their 5 stars, and just thumped KY, a team that is going for a FOURPEAT against us in 2017. Love him or hate him, Paul Johnson does more with less than just about anybody.

    A Dylan Thompson moment...

That's a good point. Also tired of hearing how Bentley should be in HS -- he was held back a year. He's 19, and when Deshaun Watson was 19, he was beating us on one leg. I'm very excited about where Jake is in his development. He's looking great. His future looks very bright. But let's not...

    To Early.....

"I hope to see improvement next year and in year 3" So Wait Until Year After Next? You realize that means that KY will be probably going for the Five Bomb in 2018, right? Kentucky. Not Bama. Not LSU. Not even Clempson. Kentucky. No, we need to show significant improvement next year...

All bowl game got us was a losing season

Disagree. Team showed a lot of heart to fight back and force OT, and Bentley took a big step forward. Deebo, Turner & Edwards also played well. This bowl game at least partially washes away the bad taste from the Clempson game, and gives us something to build on next year. I would agree with...
