    Sounds more like they should've written it to Wilcox considering he was the one they wanted and he turned the job down. The AD apparently listened to the players.

    People forget he was at most the 3rd best hitter on his Carolina teams behind Walker and Merrifield. Heck he may have been behind Marziilli and Wingo. He was only an above average college hitter, but was as good as they come defensively.

    Mainly because we haven't ever had the coaching (other than under Spurrier) to overcome being 8th to 10th in recruiting vs the rest of the conference. In another conference we could be a top 3 or 4 most talented team.

    Take it for what it's worth, this is with a 30 second internet search but corroborates everything else I've heard and read.. he had an affair with a prominent donors daughter and supposedly multiple students while an assistant there. It was all over the place when Snyder was retiring...
