    2021-2022 WBB Team

I guess I could have been more precise in my choice of words. By "perimeter" I was referring to everything outside the paint. You're right. It is definitely the midrange where we need to show improvement. But, hey... we're once again at the Big Dance, and I'm hoping, praying, and crossing...

    2021-2022 WBB Team

Boston is often double and triple teamed in the paint. In those situations it's not always wise to force the pass inside. We get away with it often enough, but it also leads to too many turnovers. The way you make passes to the bigs when they are heavily defended in the paint is to take and...

    2021-2022 WBB Team

After watching all of the upsets and near-upsets so far, I've got to say that this has been a very entertaining weekend of NCAA Women's basketball. Some of the lower seeded teams have surprising talent, and ladies that don't shy away from the glare of the spotlight. This year's March Madness...

    WBB

Those LSU fans have serious issues, manufacturing hidden messages and motivations, and describing Dawn Staley in terms that I haven't seen allowed on any other college sports message boards. With a tip of the hat to UCONN and Tennessee WBB fans, I have now found the absolute worse WBB fanbase in...

    Jackie Giloon

Great ball handler. Best I ever saw at Carolina. Unfortunately McGuire wasn't on board with his style of play. First I've heard of his passing. RIP.

    Any Boxing fans out there?

    I. Love. Boxing. That being said, I think Caleb Plant has ALMOST all the tools needed to be great. What he lacks, or at least hasn't demonstrated yet, is real power. Canello is often billed as pound-for-pound the best fighter in the game today. I do not believe that, however, he is a great...

I saw this question on FB…”Give one line from a movie that everyone would know the movie”

"Dock that Ch*** a days pay for napping on the job." "Excuse me while I whip this out." "Mongo just a pawn in the chest game of life."

    WBB Schedule for 21-2

The announcement lists UCONN as a participant too. Have they declined? Is it possible we could play them twice next year, not counting the tournament?

    Gamecocks vs UCONN preview

With their quickness, their passing, and their reliance on the three, I believe our game against Arkansas, coming when it did, was good preparation for our game against UConn.

    WBB tonight vs Ole Miss

I stated the reason in my original post.

    WBB tonight vs Ole Miss

Yeah, I felt kind of funny writing it, but my concerns are genuine. Hopefully, when we play the best of the best, they will prove my concerns to be unfounded.

    WBB tonight vs Ole Miss

Was at the Mother's Finest concert last night so I missed the game. (The soundboard was terrible but the band brought it, as they always do!) Just caught a replay on SECN+. It was painful to watch. I love women's basketball when both teams are proficient and there is true competition. What I...

Anybody else amazed by Boston’s mid-range shot?

Well, watching her shoot free throws, l kind of figured she had a decent midrange shot. I believe Lele may have one as well but seems hesitant to shoot anywhere but under the basket.

WBB SC vs Georgia - Today 3pm in Athens GA

I agree. In fact I would contend that, the way she is currently stroking that ball, she needs to get more shots.

WBB SC vs Georgia - Today 3pm in Athens GA

Don't get me wrong... I love Zia Cooke and her future is bright, but sometimes she really tightropes the line between fearless and reckless.

The pick-n-pop is really working for Boston. Another dimension to her already stellar game.

I'm always hoping for more consistency. Would love to see four strong quarters for a change.

Spot on Dreuscock. Our "Flagship Station" covers our number one ranked Women's Basketball team as if it was an afterthought, at best.
