    I don’t think Clemson was near ready for the NIL/transfer portal chaos and losing Venebles hurt this year. But it’ll be interesting to see how their recruiting goes moving forward. I don’t see that chubby kid who is running their D now bringing in those monster DL.

    This is not a slight at the Garnet Trust or Mr. Shoemaker's efforts, just the NIL in general...but I find it ridiculous that, with all the money floating around college football, fans are now asked to give money that can be used to help lure high school students to their schools. Nope.

    Count me in as one who doesn’t watch anymore. Last race I went to was at Charlotte and it was so boring we left halfway through and went and shot pool. They ruined it by redesigning the car. Now it’s just like watching traffic, not racing.

    I hope you're right. Because reading this stories about the transfers and the NIL and the A&M situation makes me feel dirty. And I do feel like the players deserve a piece of the pie. But there has got to be a better way to do it. Just feels like they just pulled the pin on the grenade...

    He may not be wrong here. I know 3 guys who played at the collegiate level and none of them liked football when they played and none of them pay any attention to it now. Maybe it’s because they were all offensive linemen, but it’s funny how they all feel the same way.
