    In a game without a lot of offense, Deebo WAS the offense for SF. I don't know why his play didn't garner more media attention than it did because he was clearly the catalyst for whatever success that they had (kick returns, receiving, rushing, blocking).

    Those that attended the game last night please give us a report on the fan atmosphere.***

    Atmosphere was great and loud. Not sure what the announced attendance was but for a non-marquis game it was better, and more exciting, than a similar game in past years. We normally sit in west upper but were in east middle and the west stands looked ~70% full. Student section was outstanding!

    So how is it that baserunner is picked off 1st base but is awarded

    Defensive player must possess the ball before blocking the base. If that player has the ball in possession then the player can block the path with the ball to make a tag. If that player does not have the ball in possession when contact is made then the defensive player is obstructing/interfering.
