    So an ineligible receiver downfield. Makes more sense.

    Can someone explain what that penalty was? Stogner appeared to have caught a first down pass and it was called back for “illegal touching”. The only thing I can find on this is when a receiver doesn’t establish himself after stepping out of bounds. Stegner was nowhere near the sideline.

    Rule help please

    On recent PAT try the holder regains control of the ball with his knee on the ground. There is no kick. Why isn’t the play dead? If you have a qb taie a snap and slip and put a knee down, he’s down. What’s the difference?
