Outscored Buffalo by 10 in 2nd quarter. Even with turnovers.

I had to look to make sure this was ESPN I was watching. Sounds like the Buffalo sports network.

No coach that Ray hires will come close to his

It's not great, it's not bad, probably around this year's team will end up. That is my point.

Wow...really? As often as you make an *** out of yourself, you're gonna call me an idiot? Sorry, not perfect here, neither is any one else. That 2000 team, though not with Smoak, WAS among the most talented Gamecocks team EVER, and lost, at home, in the Supers.

No coach that Ray hires will come close to his

Our 50+ win team with Smoak, etc. didn't have pitching issues. Probably the most talented team in our history...didn't make it to Omaha!

Actually, Tanner, in his initial season, was only 33-24, just 9 games over .500. Finished 13-17 in the SEC.

He has got to go out and get some guys that can hit.

A couple of things here. Last night, we do realize we faced a pitcher that will be at the top of the first round draft? Today, we faced another who is projected down the road to be a top rounder, and between him and the bullpen, we pounded out 16 hits, including 4 home runs. We can...

    Thought question...

Dude, take the usc our of your name, you're no Gamecock. It's one thing to disagree with how the coach is doing, but to not know what you're even talking about is a whole nother story!

Baseball Vent: I know it's early!

Maybe it just me...but I thought we looked pretty good today. 15-7 win. 4 home runs and 16 hits against one of the best pitching staffs around. We do need to fiugure a way to get the series win tomorrow. But...not as bad as some want to make us out to be.

I can agree with your post. I read something the other day noting we had lost seven games by 7 or fewer points. Decent point guard play would have helped with that, and five of those seven in the win column would have probably put us back in the dance.

I've always loved the "you don't need as many good players to alter a team in basketball as you do in football" line. Well...guess what? There is not near the amount of good basketball players around as there is good football players. In other words, the percentages are still pretty much the...

Several NIT braketology has us in that tournament but....

Yep, as long as he was our head coach, I was going to support him. That said, when it was all said and done, I was big enough to come on here and say that I was definitely wrong. All the negative nellies do, is run and hide, when there doom and gloom disappears.

Sure beats sitting at home. More experience for the young guys.

For anyone at the baseball game in G’ville

Dang...I know, with age, my eyesight has gotten worse, but was thinking to myself how it didn't seem like as much orange at Founder's Park, as there has been in past years.

    Dawn Taking It To Court...Literally

Tanner? Really? There are right way's and wrong way's to handle things. Tell me exactly? What should Tanner have done, other than what he did?

When you open the season at home and lose with a division 2 opponent, it's a long season.

Two things are definitely different. 1} this isn't Holbrook coaching this team, and 2} we won 2 out of 3, not lost 2 out of 3.
