Observation from last night's men's bball game re: COVID

It most definitely was in the works - for over 10 years. Epidemiologists knew we were "overdue", like meteorologists and hurricanes.

Observation from last night's men's bball game re: COVID

My trust erodes when someone attacks others who are not like them. I think the two-week curve-flattening was based on everyone getting vaccinated. Not every unvaccinated person is hateful to pro-vax people. Again, respect those whose opinion differ from yours.

Anyone else not making the move to On3 ?

We can do our part by being civil to each other and avoid inflammatory language, whether or not it's directed at any person or group.

Observation from last night's men's bball game re: COVID

Science is a moving target. Always has been, always will be. We try to do the best with what we have. If you are adamant about not masking up, keep your distance. Equally, if you do mask up religiously, keep your distance as well. Most importantly, let's try to respect and be nice to each...

First Super Bowl ever without a #1, #2, or #3 seed

Last year, it was amazing that the Super Bowl was played on the home field of one of the participants. Again? If only the Chargers had won the AFC....... And apparently the Chargers are the "host" team; thus, the Rams are the designated "road" team. In 13 days from the date of this posting...

    Clemson WBB - Wow

Not an accountant, but there's undoubtedly some Good Will there, or USC would not have invested in WBB like it has. Whiterock & Lurker, it appears to me that the two of your are doing the kind of Good Will dance which the Athletic Department, the School President, and the Board of Trustees...

DOWN GOES UT DOWN GOES UT

Maybe this game will be made up during the 2025 season, then the two schools can sign a two-year home-and-home for 2026-2027. Or postpone the new contract a year. Details which I'm certain the two schools will work out to everyone's satisfaction.

IMO Geno and Dawn will do their best to reschedule that game. It may take a few years (think the football home-and-homes with NCSU 1991 & 1999, and with UnCarolina 2007 & 2013), but I believe it will happen.
