    Texas A&M Roll Call

Bump...tell me I'm not the only FGFer that's gonna watch McClendon call the same 5 plays the entire game live.

    Texas A&M Roll Call

This trip seemed a lot cooler when we booked it over the summer. In any event, I'll be there with 7 other Gamecocks ready to see the product that we put on the field. We are flying into Austin Thursday and staying until Saturday morning. The plan is to rent a car and drive to College Station...

    Feaster out Saturday groin injury

Feaster is out the rest of the season, but don't expect Muschamp to be forthcoming with that tidbit.

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

That's true - 7-10 years ago. The folks in this thread are lame or collecting social security. One might even be Ray Tanner. Beer is sold at most movie theaters in the area and even at Riverbanks Zoo. Tell me more about why serving beer is asinine?

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

LOL! You clearly don’t understand. You seem 100% sure that the cost exceeds the revenue. It’s silly. It’s 2020 - if folks want to buy a beer at a game, they should be able to. Soon, we’ll be the only SEC school not offering it. I’m sure Ray wouldn’t have it any other way.

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

This day and age, yes, there are a bunch of young professionals in the area with no ties to USC that would go watch a game because they can have a beer. Do you think people in Greenville go watch the minor league hockey team for the product on the ice or because they can have a drink at a...

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

what’s your point? If it’s a net positive on the bottom line, why not sell it? It would enhance the fan experience, no? LSU, Texas A&M and others are selling it. It’s just a case of Ray being Ray. What do we expect when we hired an AD with zero qualifications for the job.

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

I 100% agree with this. I still believe it would only enhance the fan experience. It would help attendance more than it would hurt it. Increased attendance means more food sales, etc. It just seems like a no brainer to me.

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

I can guarantee their revenue stream is higher because they serve alcohol. Attendance would be abysmal without beer sales.

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

I just feel like it is definitely where we are headed. Why put it off any longer? Of course it would make money. If it didn't, why would the Fireflies sell it? For starters, it puts more butts in the seats - like it or not.

    Beer Sales for Basketball/Baseball

Is it safe to say it isn't happening this year? Basketball season starts in a week and there's been no word from the administration. There's simply no reason for it not to be sold this year, but I'm sure Ray will sit on his hands.

    OT: A Dog's Journey

Prophet, Thanks for the synopsis of the film. Sounds like there's a lot to like and overall, probably gave your Grandson some good food for thought. "Grandpappy can actually function in public without Dewar's on his lips." Or did you end up getting all drunk and having the 9 year old boy...

    BBQ FOLKS!

If having a location in Aspen makes Hometeam a chain, then having a location in Charleston makes Rodney Scott's a chain. That's all I'm saying. I love some good Q, but must not be the BBQ snob that you are. Sounds like you could just live in Pickens County and be butt hurt about Columbia getting...

    BBQ FOLKS!

By your logic, Lewis and Rodney Scott's are chains too. Still some of the best BBQ in SC. True BBQ is the best BBQ in the 803. Dont @ me.

    BBQ FOLKS!

Laughing at the folks who say the food is overpriced. Sure there are better BBQ joints out there, but this isn't your "run to the mill" BBQ buffet. Hometeam would be foolish to charge $7 for a BBQ plate. The Midwood Smokehouse recipe sure has worked out on Garners Ferry and if you think that...
