Women's team.... Yes. Absolutely.
Mens team... Not without Meechie and Mack getting out of the slumps they have been in lately and everyone else playing status quo. Even then.. Lots of tough teams out there.

Elite eight is a lofty goal. Just don't see us getting there without all hands on deck. Thornwell was capable of taking over a game and had he not got the flu may have led us to the title. We just don't have that player on the team this year so we need everybody at their best to make the elite eight. Just my opinion.
Southern Fried Prediction Thread. We better not go 9-27 from 3-point land again if we want to make it to that point. Ole Miss made the game dirty last night in the 2nd half and almost pulled off the upset.
We still have work to do not only to get in tournament but also receive a decent seed where we aren't playing out West against a tough opponent. Also, from a confidence standpoint, you don't want to be backing into any tournament with losses at the end of the season (ask the baseball team) and we've got a pretty tough road after the Vandy game this weekend.
This team is a solid group but (unlike the Four Final run) they haven't been playing that long together, nor have they been in any win-or-go-home situations. We're not world beaters. We need favorable matchups in the tournament to win 3-straight and make it to the Final Eight.
If we do make it that far with this team, the AD better be better to open the purse strings. WIth the NIL and portal around, both coaches and players will be interested in leveraging that success and they probably should.
