I have seen a lot of people ready to jump off the top of WB Stadium in fear of the offense next year. Who is going to be our quarterback? Who besides Cooper can play WR? We shouldn't even field a team next year mentality!!!
But, let me pose this question... why not adapt the offense to our strengths? As bad as I hate Clemson, why not start to run similar plays? If we have speed on the outsides (Cooper,Samuels,etc.) why not run the jet sweep passes, quick hitting screens, three step drops(New England Patriots) style passing scheme? This takes pressure off the OL who might struggle at times and lets our play makers make plays. Spurrier adapted to a more ground and pound game when he came here, because of what our strengths were. Why not take the pressure off whoever the QB will be next year by Keeping It Simple Stupid?
