After his first pitch, the announcer said .... 'Now there's a major league curveball for a strike.'
Not sure but I believe it was Paul O'Neil. (David Cone & the YES announcer were the others in the box).

They talked about how Webb was NOT being developed as a 'situational pitcher', one who is brought in to face just one batter or to just get left handed batters out. Don't know why they brought in another pitcher after him. Yanks were trailing 4-1 at the time.

Also mentioned that he was drafted out of high school but wanted to pitch for South Carolina.
