In our 4 loses combined we've been outscored by 100 points. With Tennessee and Clemson still left, who knows how high that total will be.. Is this the worst 6-6 team in our history?

No sure. We’ve had more of those than I can remember. I’m sure we had a good 6-6 team. Back then it would have been 6-5 or 5-6, right?
Had to look it up. There are a lot. I think 92 was the year tanneyhill came in and won like 5 out 6 last games. Those teams could score but couldn’t stop a pee wee team.
Back in the day there wern't 41 bowl games like today. 8 wins was the standard to go to a bowl game. 6-6 was considered a terrible year for most respectable programs.
And should be now. Bowls used to symbolize at least decent achievement. As it is, I'm hoping for a weak-@$$ed bowl opponent, and hoping we can beat even them.
If the Tenn/Mizzou game is an indicator, we will lose by about 35 points. Truly depressing.
6 wins to bowl eligible was mandated because of Notre Dame, otherwise they could go winless and still get an invite from some bowl.
I would expect Tennessee to show no mercy and drop the Hydrogen Bomb on South Carolina as a result of Tennessee trying to impress the playoff selection committee.
Regardless of score, I want the best game they've got. We might as well find out what we actually have around here. If we beat them, golden. If we get eviscerated, the truth of the situation will be undeniable except to the biggest dumb@$$e$. That way, we get to identify them, in case there was any doubt who they are.
I've been saying for a while now what we are but usually get called a pessimist or a tater
Pretty sure but we evidently need more buy-in. There are still people propounding methods whereby we could win the game - benching Rattler in favor of Joyner, for example.

Well, things can happen that no one expects. Statistically speaking the chance is not zero that flying monkeys will shoot out my ass. The odds of us winning Saturday is about the same.
Our guys don’t seem to have any desire to block or tackle now that they are Bowl-eligible.
