# 6 in Baseball America poll *

We will see how long it lasts. We play 4 of the current top 5 ranked teams plus Miss State who will probably be ranked again by the time we get to them. Somehow the only team to take a series from us is getting eaten up in their conference, doesnt bode well for us unless we can get the bats rolling.

How much longer are you going to celebrate Clemson's series win last month before you realize we've started the SEC portion of our schedule, swept a good SEC opponent last weekend, and have won about 10 games in a row. You're missing out on some good baseball just so you can extend the glory of finally winning a series against us.

That is going to be a horrible loss....such a poor team.

Hope it does not hurt our seeding in Omaha.....it might make us a 5 instead of a 4....

Very bad loss to that program...like losing to Longwood.

We are Number 6 in all five polls listed on the baseball page. Never seen a ranking that consistent.

Difference in our program vs Tater program???

When NCAA looks at selections Clemson will be a bad loss for us and we will be a good win for them.

They are killing our RPI!!!

BTW, Clemson's mens golf shot their all time low in a tournament last week, we beat them by a shot.

Im not celebrating Carolina losing to clemson. I just dont think we are the #6 team in the country. We got pushed by what will probably be a mediocre Kentucky team when its all said and done. We have relied on HRs to win games late. Dont misunderstand me, Im very happy we are winning games but you'd think the #6 team in the country wouldnt have as much trouble putting away lowly teams as this one is doing. Maybe Im too used to having Tanner in the dugout, but it seems like each of Holbrook's three teams have started hot (with the exception of losing to Clemson this year) and then fade down the stretch.

This is why baseball is confusing. I never knew wins with home runs counted less. Damn home runs are making our record bad. Damnit stop hitting home runs and winning games. You're killing us.

It's baseball. We slumped during Clempson series. We are without a doubt the better team, just as we were in 2010 when we dropped the series to them. We are definately a top 10 team with a chance to go all the way of we get hit and stay hot at the right time. Ala 2010-2011.
