I'm able to confirm that two defensive players at positions of need made it in for OVs today.
DE Derrick McLendon is obviously at a big time position of need. While he doesn't quite have the upside of Jordan Burch, I'd say he grades out a little better than Gilber Edmond did and would provide some much needed depth.
Another position that the staff wants one more depth piece at is LB. Vongphachanh wasn't highly recruited out of HS but has been very productive at Utah St. He had over 100 total tackles in 2022 and 2 sacks. He'd immediately bring a lot of experience to a room full of young talent.
