Those great seasons UF had they had Tim Tebow. When Tebow graduated UF became very average very quickly. Urban saw that he wasn't going to be successful without him and conveniently had health issues as a reason for leaving the program. Florida wasn't great when Muschamp took over and for whatever reason he could never develop a QB there. He's been ahead here in that regard. We just haven't had the kinds of defenses he had at UF. Most of that has to do with personnel. He's done a good job recruiting that side of the ball so lets home some of that shows this season. Jimbo took over a team that had been a consistent underachiever but was still very talented. Winston led that talent to the NC. What Jimbo left at FSU was a complete disaster. FSU should always have enough talent to coast to coast to 7 wins no matter who their coach is. What Jimbo left was as bad as what Spurrier left here.
