Muschamp in 2019 before getting blown out by Virginia in the Belk Bowl: "It becomes almost a punishment to play in a bowl game if you practice 15 more practices.”

Beamer getting ready for a bowl nobody predicted we would be eligible for: "Thank God we are bowl eligible. … We’ve got to get better and continue to improve. This is just the beginning of Carolina football.”

Coach Beamer knows where we are and where we need to be. He isn't taking anything for granted, and you hear the buzz about a new culture already in his first year. These two quotes tell you what you need to know about that.

Time for some "self absorbed fans" to show their toughness as well.

Dump Satterfield and I will be there!

Name one offensive coach we could have had last night with our line and QB that would have made a difference?

Pass blocking for most of the game seemed pretty good. We just couldn’t open running lanes.

I couldn’t see it on tv, did we have open receivers JB wasn’t seeing, or were they defended? He definitely had too many throws into double coverage, hard to believe someone wasn’t open. I kept waiting for some slants and shots over the middle.

That all said, I don’t think Satterfield is the answer. He’s had to deal with a lot of issues, but I have the feeling he’s not the guy we need. I don’t think he’s taken full advantage of the pieces we had to work with. Jaheim Bell is an example, he should have the ball in his hands 10 times a game. He’s a playmaker.

Clemson’s strength and conditioning coach might have helped us. They were pushing our linemen around on both sides of the ball.

cockymark, I understand what you are saying there. Many of us though are saying there needs to be a change in BOTH the OC AND OL coaches. The problem with Satterfield is that he was an OC once before and was a dismal failure. Is he a great position coach? I don't know. But, even if he might be, OC is a level beyond his competence. That has been proven multiple times in his career. I suspect we will have a new OC and a new OL coach next year.

He also runs wrong routes

Clemson Players as a collective bunch were just too big and physical for us. We need to feed our guys meat and potato's and get them in the weight room.

Clemson looked a lot like A&M. 25% bigger, stronger and faster than us across the board and defensive focused.

We had very little chance with this current group of players on offense.
