Announcers' grammar worse than USC's play, if that's possible.

Between the 16- and 17-minute mark of the second half of the USC-Ky game, ESPN announcer Adam Amin used the phrase "could have went" three times. Seconds later, co-announcer Dick Vitale used the same phrase. I know this kind of stuff might not bug a lot of you, but to me the dumbing down of the English language is both alarming and depressing.

You should be bothered, too. Do you realize how many tax dollars our educational system receives? Who pays those tax dollars?

We have people in our country who make a living using our language but 99.9% have no idea what most of the english rules are.

I get it.

The word "ran" is butchered in all sports.
