Another chance for LSU to get more runs. If we don't win this series, I'd say part of it is due to the home plate ump and the fact he missed quite a few calls that led to runs for LSU and he called strike 3 on our batters when it wasn't.

Yeah LSU is nasty. They are about the best team in the country. It just makes us all wonder what could have been if the strike 3s were called, but no excuses. A great team doesn't need to rely on calls to go their way to win a game. We gotta do well at Hoover to have hope of going to the postseason, but history is obviously not on our side.

Need to recruit some high caliber players AND build them up. We have some good talent, just need to recruit some help and evaluate some of the staff. Hitting and pitching has to get better.

The umpires had nothing to do with it. LSU is miles and miles ahead of us. I'm shocked that we even won a game against them.

I was at the Friday night game and true, the umpire missed a third strike call and the next pitch was a double to drive in a couple of runs. However, it would not have mattered. LSU is without a doubt the best team in the country. That team can freakin' hit! I told a friend of mine that went with me to the game before we got there to just watch them hit and he was like "Holy crap, that LSU team is unreal".
