Anybody do the put your phone is a bag of rice if you drop it in water thing? And what happened?*

I dropped the clicker to my subdivision entrance gate . . . into a cup of wine! Damn good Cabernet, too. Tore up the clicker, but the V-P in charge of gate clickers (she's from Ohio) gave me a new one. I make a point of being real nice to all the 'Snow Birds' in my neighborhood - pays off, too. My wife thinks I'm condescending and that one day I'm gonna get caught. LOL! Catch me if you can!

GO 'COCKS! There ain't but one Carolina and it's in SOUTH (thank God) Carolina!

Rice works. Silica packets are the best. Anytime you get some from a box of shoes, medicine, or whatever, hold on to them.

I work in and around water daily. The best things I have found are a food dehydrator or the drying oven in a laboratory. Take the battery out if you can and don't go above 120 degrees or you'll fry the electronics. You probably have a friend that has access to either of these options.
