Go Mounties...nothing like a football game in Boone, NC on a Saturday afternoon with a little snow falling from the sky as you look up at those beautiful mountains....

CSU (Chas Southern) started yesterday. Some reasons given were more time to heal if injuries occur and they expect to be playing games in December and want to prepare for that.

Don't be fooled. The primary reason is to get people talking about the program, which it has. Very few schools started this early, so they have the limelight right now. Also, Coach Chadwell has done a great job putting CSU on display and doing things outside the box to gain positive attention for his program like playing 11am games, so they're the only ones going across the ESPN ticker. It's really quite smart, and has brought some positive attention to CSU (deserved).
