Per 247, he has set his final three. USC, Auburn, and LSU and stated that's his final 3 in order! So, here's hoping for the best!
Would love to have him. I would like to see him in the Rabbit Package day 1.Originally posted by cj_mc7:

Same here... I'd almost feel more confident if he listed us last.Originally posted by Ratheolcoach:
He has "Auburn Drama" written all over him. But, I hope he picks us.
Exactly what I was thinking.....glad we are in the running but there is a lot of time for him to flip to Auburn as his top pick by next week. Maybe he will flip to Auburn this weekend and then flip back to us by signing day.Originally posted by Cock-Vader:

What a joke. If he was still serious about USC, he wouldn't have DEcomitted.Originally posted by cj_mc7:

Auburn scares he heck out of me in any football recruiting battle. It seems we lost most of those. We had one kid flip on us to Auburn as he was walking from his chair to the podium. Can't remember the kids name but I think it was in the early years of Spurrier.Originally posted by gamecockjosh:

Well than why didn't he just commit to that team already? Why didn't he at least list that team #1? I don't think he has ruled any team out, I think he is trying to figure out which team he chooses he is going to have the best chance to get early playing time so he is waiting to see where some other recruits fall. We run a rabbit package which he is perfect for. We could put Blackshear and Lewis on the Inside and Key and BAW on the outside.Originally posted by Mr CockStrong:

What was the first school he visited after decomitting? That should tell you all you need to know. That's where he's going.
They say 3rd time's a charm.Originally posted by coastguardcock:
I would be shocked if he doesn't end up at Auburn. I think the two times he committed to us he meant it, and wasn't playing games, but I don't see it happening a third time.
I'd be more interested in where he visited just before he decommited.Originally posted by Mr CockStrong:

He re-opened his recruiting as a warning to HBC not to fire the coaches that were recruiting him. He has said countless times he would like to come here if Whammy and Adams stay and he wouldn't if they didn't. He repeated that this past weekend. They're his favorite among the coaches that are recruiting him. I'd be surprised if we don't get him. But he is fickle.Originally posted by Mr CockStrong:

Doesn't Orgeron sound like some kind of sci-fi, mind-melting sort of thing? Just hearing his name is creepy to me.Originally posted by cj_mc7:
Cancelled auburn visit, had an in home with LSU coaches, one being Orgeron.....
Well that seals it....................Orgeron "the bag man" will be there with a wad of cash.Originally posted by cj_mc7:

And the worst part will be we kept this staff to keep this class and in the end, 8 decommits and this guy going elsewhere.Originally posted by The Real Ess:

there isn't enough ridicule in the world to adequately ridicule people who use this retarded phrase on internet forums. So here's a picture of Robocop on a unicorn instead.Originally posted by luvmygamecocks:
Will end up at Carolina for 2 reasons. 1) It's close to home and 2) His good buddy Wesley Green is at USC. Bank on it.
I get the gist of your post, but please tell me you don't really believe that Steve Spurrier would prolong making changes to his defensive coaching staff after a horrible season like we had this past year to land one recruit, especially in a class that we're bringing in 6 other players for the same position. Or that every player that flips is being bought?Originally posted by G-C-Gamecock:
Was there discussion on SportsTalk tonight that Ward and Key talked for a while tonight and Key actually told Ward that LSU had the upper-hand at this point? I'm hearing this, but didn't hear the show. IF this is true, we recruit Key through most of his high school years, have him commit twice, keep a staff in place to keep him as a key component of a recruiting class and Orgeron gets on him for 2 weeks and he goes there? Talk about a kick in the (pick some place).
He wouldn't not refuse to make changes to save one recruit, but he would refuse to fire Ward to to avoid shutting off his Atlanta pipeline.Originally posted by Bigger_Stronger_Faster:
