You really are going to do this today? They were much more organized on offense today which led to all the dunks Gray got to get us in the ballgame. I still don’t like how they have GG floating around at the 3 point line all the time, but they played like they wanted to compete first. You have to do that before you win. You have personnel that are not used to making down the stretch decisions. These are not PlayStation operated figures that do exactly what you draw up. These are players from lower levels, players that came to us because they were on the bench other places, and one talented freshman trying to learn how to play. Why bang on them today.Once again.... no discipline in the last minute and a half.
No mental execution on that next to last play.
We still are what we are. Crap.

So, you can’t really attack the coaching today. So, now you are going to attack players that have not proven they can win. We already know that. Perfectly normal for a kid that has not seen success on this level to not want the ball or the shot in crunch time.A college level player standing at the foul line with no one within four feet of him and he has his dribble is so fixated on making a pass that he doesnt even look to the basket.
One can still look better than previous and still be crap.

It’s not when you don’t have one efficient go-to scorer on the roster. GG is going to be good, but he is young and his lack of strength shows when he attacks the basket. Throws up a lot of flip shots that have no chance. Meechie can get hot from 3, but it’s only every now and then. I am sure you know other teams know this. So, somebody besides GG or Meechie are going to be wide open and end up with the ball.So by that reasoning, poor coaches would draw up a play that involves that kid.
So yes, poor coaching.
You can defend this team we have today and make excuses or even have legitimate reasons why the program is where it is. It's probably mostly true. None of that changes the fact that the team SUCKS
