Wouldn’t it be nice if the NCAA comes down hard on Clemson for paying players. Their National Champlionshiop would have a big asterisk beside it.

As much as I like NCAA sports it is a shame the Feds are doing the NCAA job. I do not expect wiretaps from the NCAA but they have turned a blind eye to both basketball and football. But that is just me

Here's the thing (and why cheating pays off); the 1981 championship has an asterisk beside it, but nobody sees it (or cares). They will always have it, always claim it, and will always be able to use it in recruiting - the 1981 one as well as any subsequent ones. People have very short memories.
