They'll get hardware and keep it. The NCAA won't do anything! Cheating pays off bigtime! That's why so many programs do it.
At least they can Dance. That's big. McGuire's teams that didn't win the tournament couldn't. The conference tournaments are now a superfluous farce. Drop them.
So then win the SEC tourney AND this? I swear, we just can't have nice things in Columbia.
They were always stupid and unnecessary, even with if they were once significant. Teams play 16-18 games against each other in the regular season. Why do we need a tournament to determine the champion?
A tournament is only required to determine the national champion.
That's probably correct. But at least they filled arenas with great drama when the Dance was always on the line. They produced some very unjust results, but they were riveting.
