Baseball ⚾️ game thread

Obviously Weekly is pitching poorly because that's what gets us out repeatedly...Change ups and curves ball 6 inches off the plate does the trick

Great pitching by us but you can't leave 10 on base in 8 innings, including back to back bases loaded innings. CSU is not a bad team, though. They did throw most of their big arms tonight..

Nice win, but needed to hit the cover off the ball and score 15 runs against Charleston Southern...
No we didn't
We just needed to score more runs than the other team... that is how baseball works.

Style points don't mean anything in this sport, anybody can beat anybody else with a good night from one pitcher or a couple bounces of the ball going for you or against you. A comment like this shows a complete lack of understanding of the college game. This isn't like FB where a loss to an FCS school is that big of a deal or only beating them by a small margin is a bad sign. A 3-0 win in baseball is pretty dominant especially when you consider we had our B-team playing (back ups in at least 2-3 spots of the lineup and tossing our pitchers who don't sniff the weekend) and they threw their best arms from start to finish.

It's called batting practice...

You like to see other players get a hit, rest the starters and get playing time for the bench... You never know when you need them in a pinch...
