Perhaps I should have titled this post most entertaining game of the year. If you didn’t watch the Michigan vs Michigan State game yesterday, you missed a great one. 2 in state rivals, both Top 10 ranked, and both very talented. It was like watching a heavy weight boxing match where just when one was about to knock out his opponent, they find something inside themselves to keep fighting. at the half, the MSU coach told his team, “We’re going to win this game because you are tougher than they are, and at some point before it’s over, they are going to flinch.” MSU played from behind almost this entire game, but kept making plays especially on 4th down, and 2-point conversions. I’ve always pulled for MSU since former Gamecock player Mark Dantonio became coach. It appears that MSU has got a great coach, and has benefited by adding some key transfers to their already pretty talented group. If you can replay this game somehow, grab a pizza and a few cold beers, and watch this game instead of 2 hours of Survivor.
