For those who have not noticed what should be OBVIOUS and are 'worried" about the trips, every Coach on the team except Satterfield and Adkins are seeing multiple prospects that are uncommitted....those other Coaches are visiting those prospects mostly by themselves. Satterfield and Adkins are seeing NOBODY except the players that are committed that they personally recruited....and they are doing so with Beamer along with them.. READ THE RECRUITING SCHEDULE I COPY AND PASTED BELOW.....and THINK.
This is a farewell tour where I am sure it is being explained to the recruits why neither will be back and they are hearing it from them; not some wire report. (the SMART way to do this...not the idiotic knee jerk way some would like) As somebody who "spun" reality for 33 years in Court, let me "spin" for you a likely\possible "explanation" for their departure the recruits will be hearing......"Satterfield has decided he prefers the pro game as it fits his style better and Adkins had a health scare a couple of weeks ago and has decided he needs to take some time off to deal with his health issues". (and like all good "spin" there may likely be an element of truth to both those explanations)....there, tied up in a nice neat bow....Both will then be "free to go" by next week.
THEIR ITENERARY: "South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer is in Georgia today (Monday) where he's set to stop in on Gamecocks commits OL Grayson Mains, OL Cason Henry…Beamer will be joined by Marcus Satterfield and Greg Adkins on the Mains and Henry stops. Marcus Satterfield will also be at Alpharetta and Roswell with Beamer. Adkins is scheduled for a Ryan Brubaker in-home on Wednesday. Marcus Satterfield will also be at Alpharetta and Roswell with Beamer. On Friday, he is scheduled to take in quarterback commit Braden Davis' game".
