I just looked at the bowl game schedule.
How many games are you going to make an effort to watch?
Do all the bowls with SEC teams interest you?
Do you pull for SEC teams because it makes the conference look stronger if SEC teams win?
Or do you pull against SEC teams in hopes their losses help USC in some way like recruiting?
Most of the bowl games I'm interested in are ones with SEC teams.
The only exception to that is Va Tech vs UMD

To me, it really doesn't feel like bowl season until after Xmas. I would have watched the Kent state and SC state games but didn't know they were on.

I'll be on a ski trip after Xmas so will only check scored for the ones during the day.

I am a mixed bag when it comes to the SEC. I always pull against UGA, Tenn and Florida, regardless of the opponent. I will pull for Kentucky and some of the west teams.

If there is a game on - any game - I'll usually dial in, although I may not give it a ton of attention. I just love to watch CFB. I do take a particular interest in the SEC teams and alway root for those guys, even Florida.
I love college football as well.

I always pull against UGA now that Richt is gone. I probably pull for the SEC team to win except for Mississippi State cause I hate those cowbells lol.
I like Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
Kinda neutral on the rest. Sometimes it depends on who the coach is.

Enjoy your ski trip. Where are you going?
I've never been skiing and I think I'm too old to start now lol.

I want SEC to only lose one game!! The National Championship pitting UGA vs Bama

Thank you! Heading to snowshoe after Xmas and out west in early jan.

Your boy(s) coming in for Xmas? Although we disagree on Pearson, I enjoy your post and still love ya!

I will watch most any college football game that is on, but I'm not going to plan my schedule around any of the bowl games. Between watching Christmas movies with the family, skiing, and even hunting (Montana FWP made a late decision to extend the whitetail season in a few districts until Feb 15th!), I've got a lot of things to keep me busy this time of year.

I'll pull for the SEC in every game they play. I hate UGA, but there is no way I'd pull for Michigan.

Given all the current developments I don't believe this narrative holds true any longer, (except for die hard homers). With the yearly coaching carousel leaving some teams with a skeleton staff, the Transfer Portal, and many of the sports top performers opting out, the true significance of bowl game just does not carry the same weight from just 5 years ago.

Aside from that that, I still enjoy watching bowl games, and getting to see some teams that otherwise I did not have a chance to watch during the regular season.

👍on pulling against UGA, TENN and Florida

I will watch the playoffs and go to the Mayo bowl. Other than that, I find the bowls meaningless and timekillers for me. Army/ Navy ends college football TV season for me.

I'm pulling for USC, of course, and Cincy. Rooting for the G5. Pretty much indifferent to the rest.

Haha and I, you!
If we weren't passionate about out views we wouldn't be us lol. (I love the example RBG and Chief Justice Scalia gave the world on bing friends with someone you disagree with.)
As far as Christmas, only one is coming home.
The oldest got married in May and spending the holidays with his wife's family.

Have a great holiday season!

I'll try to catch most of them, like a couple of the posters. I may not be completely dialed-in, but I love college football. Will pull for most of the SEC teams. The only teams I'm really rooting for are Carolina and Iowa State.

I have to spend Christmas through New Year's at the in-laws in Nashville and I'm seriously the only guy ever around as the father-in-law (divorced) lives in another part of TN. So it's me and a house full of Women. I'll watch anything and everything bowl related on TV and may also go to the music city bowl. Thank God for Bowl Season.

You're never too old to start skiing, although you may be to old for the abrupt stoppage.

One
nope
NOPE!!! (only against Clemtech, NOtra Dame, NC st. Un-carolina & a few exceptions)
nope
All of the bowl games I am interested in have SOuth Carolina in it.
I'll watch the Semis in hopes Cincy wrecks it for everyone, any other games I watch are just that they are better than conventional TV.

I don't want Cincy to wreck it for anyone. I want them to win it all for all themselves and all the G5 schools/leagues out there.

I see more than half if not way more Sec teams losing there bowl games. Just a lot of bad matchups.
