Braves are interested in JBJ

JBJ essentially has no trade value. Statistically, he is the worst hitter in the history of MLB's modern era. JBJ's career BA of .196 is far worse than Mario Mendoza's career BA of .215 (of the famed "Mendoza Line.").

JBJ is running out of chances to improve his abysmal place in history.

Excellent college player...excellent defensive outfielder...can't hit major league pitching. End of story.

.196 is the worst hitter in baseball history? What???? He has only played a little over a year.

You might need to do a comparison to BJ Upton or Dan Uggla. They haven't hot .200 for quite a while. JBJ needs some help with the breaking ball and just making contact. Maybe a good hitting coach can straighten him out.

Hope he makes it somewhere. Gotta be able to hit though if you're playing centerfield in the bigs.

For most professional scouts, coaches, GM's, and owners, yes, yes it is.

Couldn't hit the curve ball in college, but the Sox thought they could fix it with his athletic skills. His struggles continue and it's one of the hardest things to correct with a hitter who's never hit a breaking ball in his life.

hope he does go to Atlanta and my Red Sox get a quality minor leaguer with potential in return...win, win for me

Think that's the best I can hope for in return for JBJ
