I can see this really angering fans, especially if it becomes a trend. It is one thing for a disappointed kid who is on the bench to look for greener pastures, but a freshman starter?

Is this what players are going to do to start bidding wars -- not from teams - but from alum, etc.

OU issued a statement (sorry I can't seem to include in my post), but this apparently had something to do with his father wanting OU to provide monies via NIL.
Again, this is speculation, but if that indeed is the case then OU is better served by him leaving.
