MAJOR Disappointment, actually. Probably the worst performance (coaching, playing and attitude) I've witnessed from this program and I've followed them closely since the early 70's! It's at least as bad a situation as we had in the latter stages of June Raines's coaching tenure. The difference being, we've put a LOT more $$$ into this program than we had when Tanner took over.

Tanner is guilty of convincing our President that Holbrook 'could step right in and the program won't miss a beat' - it furthered Tanner's self interests, most certainly, but the baseball program immediately went into /management/coaching 'free fall' and it looks like it's going to get even worse!

I think it is worse than Raines' last couple of teams. Those just lacked the talent to compete in the SEC, but they were not inept! Agree with 67, and I too have been watching since 1973

The defense is bad. You would think we would be sacrificing defense for hitting, but we're not doing that very well either.
