Carolina Clemson prediction for 2017

I think the game being a home game helps a lot. It should be close either side. I'm cautiously optimistic that a Bentley led team can pull the upset.
We will need to see considerable improvement on both lines for us to have any hope of beating the Tilmanites. They're losing a lot of offensive fire power but they're still really good on defense.
I will let you know in October after watching clemson's new QB and our pass rush.
We have a helluva lot of weight lifiting that must be done before we can stand toe to toe with them. Off-season has to stop being rainbows and unicorns. We got to take that chit serious

They will have tha same front seven minus Carlos Watkins. We will be running for our lives. 2018 will be a different story.
As good as Watson is, and he is really really good, their offense is easy on the qb. Whoever they have back there will look pretty good. Tajh is a perfect example imo.
We got to improve top to bottom to even earn the right to discuss this.

Ummm....Clemson? They still have Cain, Renfrow, and just added 5* Tee Higgins. Just being real.
Clemson has everyone beat in that department.
A lot of football to be played before that one. I can tell you it want be 56-7 again.
We win 2-0 when Clem's long snapper sends it over the punter's head and out of the end zone late in the 4th
Clemson will be fine on the Oline and receiving corp but it will be interesting to see how effective the running/screen game is and which TE steps up. Converting 3rd downs will be interesting
Mark it down clem will lose 3 games next year.
Carolina will be much improved. I dunno how that will translate in the win column. Clemson will still hold a decided advantage in the trenches. Clemson with a double digit win in Columbia next season.

Who will be throwing the ball to them? An inexperienced QB can make great WR's average.
It all depends on QB for both teams. Clemson needs to have either Johnson, Cooper, or Brice be a clear cut starter early. If that happens, whoever is playing will be plenty experienced by the end of November. South Carolina needs to keep Bentley alive, somehow. Hopefully, for his sake, your offensive line is much improved next year. Having said that, Clemson SHOULD win with even average QB production in 2017. South Carolina is still 2-3 strong years of recruiting away from an across the board talent standpoint.

All Clemson needed to win it last year was to score 8 points. It wasn't the offensive firepower that won the game. It was the defensive pressure. Offensive firepower made it a rout rather than just a win.
2018 will be a different story. Trevor Lawrence at Death Valley. 41-14

LOL. Actually, I used to post a little when I first joined. I just remembered my username and signed in. All my original posts were purged I guess.
Tough to say at this point.. Interested to see what the losses of Watson, Gallman, Williams, Boulware, etc. will mean for them. Interested to see how much we improve in the trenches. They are still in another stratosphere as far as talent and speed are concerned though.

I think Clemson's offense takes a step back, but defense will be better I.M.O.
Sorry, but Debo better than Cain. I'll take our number 2-3 WR's over theirs as well. And SC will have the better pass catching TE. Not being a homer, just stating the obvious.
