South Carolina joins Boston College, Kansas State and Missouri as teams projected to have 5-7 records that will earn spots in bowls anyway.

Clemson is on the brink of being knocked out of these projections, though. After struggling to score against Auburn last week, you would have thought the Tigers would get healthy against Troy in their home opener. That didn't happen. Clemson did prevail, but only by a score of 30-24. If the Tigers can't tighten things up soon, they will be out of these projections by Oct. 1, when they host Louisville, which is off to a fantastic start.

Louisville has played Charlotte and Syracuse. I dont expect them to light up fla st. the bad thing is they play fla st before Clemson. that will be a very physical game
