Thursday update: I'm told UGA commitment Robert Beal will make his official visit to USC next weekend, January 20.
Wednesday's original update: Here's the latest on official visit dates for a few key DL targets...
- Georgia commitment Devonte Wyatt had told us recently that his official visit to USC will be January 20. I can tell you that trip is actually slated to take place this coming weekend. That means that Wyatt's slate will break down as follows:
USC - January 13
UGA - January 20
Florida - January 27
We continue to hear that South Carolina remains in the game here. It will be a battle with Georgia here until the end, and the decision could go down to signing day.
- Four-star defensive end Aaron Sterling was slated to make his official visit this weekend, but it has been moved to January 27 - the final weekend prior to signing day. There's nothing negative at all for USC about this development, in fact I'm told that Sterling wants the USC trip to be the final visit prior to signing day. He could also opt to make an official visit to Tennessee.
- As for another UGA commitment, four-star DE Robert Beal, he is still as of this writing scheduled to visit South Carolina officially this weekend. There is a chance that trip could get moved to January 20. I may know something more on that today and will update once I do.
