Lewis, Roberts, Owens, Brent, Rodgers, Turner, Roland, Green, Harris, and Davis (if you count going pro).
Hmmmmm . . . that kind of nails it down to members of the current staff being tied to the recruitment of that little group, doesn't it?
Roland was a child discipline problem from the get-go and Roberts had a rash of injuries - probably needed to give SEC football a rest (did he have the physical frame to play SEC football?). Nevertheless, we keep linking back to our current staff as the recruiters responsible for the 'talent gap' this year . . . . . . . . . my, oh, my.
I agree both are fair now. When ol' Petey Yannity was spewing orange on the radio up to this past year for the Clemsux network, it was slanted HEAVILY in favor of Tater Town. He has since quieted down from it after being left butt hurt.
I think that was the problem, he would not suck up to Dabo. I do remember though when Yannity covered Clemson, when there was a story that was negative toward Clemson, WSPA always found something negative on USC as well, just to balance out the coverage. It is not that way any longer at WSPA. Cannot say anything on WYFF, because I never watch, I rarely watch WSPA.
