Chris Borland Article on ESPN References Clowney

It's an interesting article about a thoughtful player who ultimately decided the game wasn't worth as much to him as American society says it should be. But what caught my attention was the matter-of-fact way one of Borland's tackles at Wisconsin was described. The article says it was "Clowney-like" hit that separated the runner from his helmet with no further explanation. I guess "Clowney-like" is an understood term among all American sports fans now. Perhaps "Clemsoning" is almost as well known.

Was at the outback bowl that day. Sitting with my woman in the nose bleeds (she bought the tix last minute as a Christmas gift) I swear to you, you could just see it coming before the ball was even snapped. And you could hear the "pop" clear as day from the bleeds.
Also good interesting read
