Kid from Ft Myers FL. was ranked #58 in March and suddenly at the end of June he is #47. Wow! I wonder what this guy did to get so much better in 3 months without even playing a game? Whatever it was he should try to bottle it and sell it.

Yeah that's my point. There is no evaluation of recruits by these sites. It's all bogus. This is the same guy in June that it was in March. Nothing changed except for perhaps the schools that have offered him.

It does seem that way sometimes.
But if those schools' recruits were really so overrated, then wouldn't they lose more against the underrated recruits from their opponents?
I think the truth is that the rating sites just trust some recruiters more than others. And those recruiters are the ones who have proven to continually identify the best prospects.
