Clemson Raising Money To Put Billboard Up In Columbia

That is in line with what the PR government shows also, but you have to remember, as an island nation in the hurricane zone, businesses and residences are largely prepared with their own generators.

Are you really that shocked that the news media, whichever suits your flavor, reports the pieces they want to report, to advance their particular view, while burying any conflicting, objective facts?
I quit listening to the news media a long time ago. I'm down to selectively listening to the sports media now.

Can they also refine their own gasoline?

That is why the ports are there and 100% open. How much gasoline refining do you think Puerto Rico was doing before the storms? Plus, to be totally honest, one reason so many have generators was to supplement a power grid that failed large portions of the island on a regular basis. If a tornado goes through a garbage dump, and all you're given are the after photos, you might get the wrong impression.

*** Out of curiosity, after checking on the EIA website, it appears Puerto Rico hasn't had an operational refining facility since 2009.

Finally someone got it right. My son just got back from PR (He was at Palmas Del Mar when the storm hit.) Many businesses and individuals have generators. Gas is flowing.

Its better than getting "news" from late night comedy shows and SNL.
Simply the best!!!

Cool. Sounds like everything is going great.

True disaster recovery has always been a process, not an event. I'm sure the people of Haiti wish their recovery from the 2010 earthquake had been treated as a process, instead of an event.

Hate to be "that guy" but raising money to send to PR won't help us in recruiting one bit. If you want us to donate to help PR then I'd be glad to donate clothes and other items. Have a setup at the next home game for fans to bring items to donate. Clemson putting a sign in our back yard is about recruiting and slapping us in the face.

Yes. If taters put up 1 billboard in Columbia. We should put up 2 in taterville. That is the only way to combat this

Or pay a plane to fly around Dung Valley during a game with a "Syracuse says hello" sign.
