I don’t think the OP is claiming that this comparison dictates the outcome of the game. He’s just throwing up some stats against a common opponent that seem to favor us. Pretty cool stats OP.

Think the mindset made a difference. When NCSU played USC they had been hearing all summer how great they were and that they were bordering on elite status. And they gave USC no respect as they waited to be coronated as one of the nations better teams. But Clemson was on their home field. And their Super Bowl. Their last chance to validate any type of season like they expected.
