Typically, runs are gonna be at a premium against Friday night starters under the best of circumstances. While I wish our hitting was better, we would have still had a chance to win this game if not for the sketchy defense.

Cockhammer is correct. If the hitting improves marginally we must improve the D or we are going to struggle. In past games we have made the D sub in left field. I suppose we didn't last night because we had Schrock coming up in the 9.
